  • It is soluble in alcohol glacial acidic acid and oils
  • Less soluble in water

  • Can catch fire, less poisonous

  • Obtained by freezing peppermint oil

  • It can be harmful for salivary membranes

USES

It is used in fragrances, cigarettes, flavoring agent, chewing and cough drops, sweets and toffees, tooth paste and tooth powder, mouth wash, body powder, after shave lotions, pain killing lotions and creams
